The Atomic Scale

The atomic scale refers to the world of protons, neutrons and electrons that make up everything we see, smell and touch. A single proton is so small that it is impossible to see even with the best equipment available today. A proton has a diameter of  1.75×10^-15 metres. You and I are made from a combination of protons, neutrons and electrons that are fused together to form elements which are electromagnetically bonded together to give us our physical form.
