What is a superfluid?

All liquid like substances have some internal resistance when they move or flow due to the atoms “rubbing” against each other. This results in a small amount of energy loss in the form of heat and, in some cases, sound. A superfluid is a substance that has no internal resistance when it flows as the atoms glide past each other without any resistance and no heat loss.
